RLA EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFT

FACTS appeal 2 (4).png

What are matching gifts?

Employer matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they’ll request a matching gift from their employer. The employer then makes their own donation to the nonprofit. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio.  Make a donation to RLA today!

Example: Johnson and Johnson match amounts are a minimum $25 and maximum $20,000 and their match ratio is 2:1. Meaning if you work for J&J and you give RLA $1,000, you can request their matching of $2,000 and the school receives $3,000.

This will allow you as an RLA donor to maximize the impact of your donation. Please use the above search tool to see if your company will match your donation and to access the forms, guidelines, and instructions that you need to submit a matching gift.
