Katie Kinuthia is a wife and mother of five (ages 9 - 8 months, four of whom are at RLA). She has over 15 years of non-profit and ministry experience within the Catholic Church. After graduating from West Chester University where she was heavily involved at the Catholic Newman Center, Katie spent a year with the Salesians Sister of Don Bosco serving youth in Kenya. It is here where she met her husband John. After returning to the states she worked as a Youth Minister at Epiphany of Our Lord in Plymouth Meeting before becoming a Program Coordinator with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Houston, TX. She lived and worked in Houston, TX for three years with JVC supporting volunteers and planning retreats throughout their year of service. After returning to the Philadelphia area, Katie worked with St. Edmonds Home for Children, followed by Advancement Director at Mother of Providence In Wallingford. 

 

Katie has been blessed to be home with her children as a stay-at-home mom for the last several years. She has served the RLA community as a parent volunteer for the past two years helping with event planning for the Family Fun Day, Angel Market, the Gala and other events throughout the year. She is blessed to join the wonderful Faculty and Staff at RLA in serving our students and families as the Student Activities Coordinator.
